Yes, I am aware of the fact that it is late. And as soon as I hit publish, I’m going to bed.

But, a little while ago I found an amazing quote. It’s for the girls. I’ve been feeling down for some time about
my looks (although I’ve been told there is nothing for me to feel down about) and dating.  But when the time comes, I know God will put the right man out there for me. It’s just hard sometimes, looking around and seeing my friends or just the kids at school with their “significant others” and I just wish I could find Mr. Right and be done with it! Haha.

And I dont think I’m ready because God needs to be the #1 man in my life, and sometimes I let other things get in the way. I’ll go several days without doing devotions, which I’m working on getting back into the habit of. It’s something to think about for the rest of the day, and just ponder.

But, I found this quote and I just thought: wow, that is amazing. That is exactly what I needed to hear.

“God is the ultimate Prince Charming to every woman, especially the one who forgot she was Cinderella.”

I have forgotten that I am a Cinderella in God’s eyes. And it was just so good to be reminded of it. That God loves me even when I may feel like the servant girl scrubbing the floors. (I am not enslaved, just a figure of speech!!)

And God IS the ultimate Prince Charming. This quote reminds me very much of another one.

“Dance with God, He’ll let the right man cut in.”

And it’s true, a woman should have to chase God in order to find Mr. Right. Because he should be right up there. And it’s an encouraging thought, to me at least, that I am a Cinderella and if I dance with HIM, I might even get a storybook ending.
