Wow, I am so excited!!!!

So, I am in FCA at school.  And in case you don’t know, it stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  And next week on, FCA chapters all over the country are going to be participating in Fields of Faith.  Of course, we didn’t find out about this until today, and thats far too soon to put all of this together in time for next Wednesday.  So we have it scheduled for a few weeks from now.  And if that doesn’t work, we have alternate dates.

Fields of Faith is like a huge worship service…on a football field.  Another girl and I are in charge of the lesson plans for FCA and we were looking through the “official FCA bible” and at the very back we saw an add for Fields of Faith.  We got excited and looked it up on the internet on the web addresses provided.  We have to talk to our principal and FCA sponsors still, but I think it’ll be okay.  At least, I HOPE it will be!!!

We’re planning on talking to a few local praise bands in town and seeing in any of them would be willing to come and join in worship.  And we have a few students we need to talk to, to see if they’d be willing to share their testimonies; plus we need to decide on an adult speaker.

But, all in all, I am very excited.  I hope everything works out and, that if it’s alright to go through with it, that we have a good turnout.

So, please keep this whole ordeal in your prayers.  They are definitely needed and we are grateful for them.
